Sementara saya akan mengatakan kepadanya bahwa suatu kebodohan mempertimbangkan langkah lain, jika memang ada pilihan untuknya," kata pria yang melatih Everton pada periode 2002-2013 ini.Menurut Moyes, berada di Everton akan membantu Pickford untuk mendapatkan menit bermain yang cukup.

Dengan demikian, penjaga gawang 24 tahun tersebut memiliki kesempatan untuk mengembangkan diri, tanpa melewatkan satu hal untuk diteliti.
